Our Story

More details coming soon...

The Greenpoint Loft

We will be wed on April 18th at The Greenpoint Loft, a pre-WWII era rope factory located in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Sitting on the top floor of a warehouse space in the industrial neighborhood of Greenpoint, Brooklyn right on the water, the space has been restored to its original raw appearance; exposed high beam ceilings, wooden floors, and open window skylights. A true New York city gem, the venue consists of the main loft space, mezzanine level, and a rooftop - boasting a magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline overlooking the East River.

History of Greenpoint

About the Neighborhood

Home to a large Polish-American community, Brooklyn's evolving Greenpoint neighborhood is a residential area with hipster appeal. Traditional Polish shops and restaurants share the streets with trend-setting eateries, bars and live music venues. Galleries and artist studios are found in converted warehouses.

Greenpoint is the northernmost neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is bordered on the southwest by Williamsburg at the Bushwick inlet, on the southeast by the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and East Williamsburg, on the north by Newtown Creek and Long Island City, Queens at the Pulaski Bridge, and on the west by the East River.

Originally farmland (many of the farm owners' family names, e.g., Meserole and Calyer, still name the streets), the residential core of Greenpoint was built on parcels divided during the 19th century, with rope factories, like the historic Greenpoint Loft lining the East River to the west, while the northeastern section along the Newtown Creek through East Williamsburg became an industrial maritime reach.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wedding Day Details

Our wedding will take place at The Greenpoint Loft on April 18, 2026.

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm sharp, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 11:00pm.

An afterparty will follow on the second-floor mezzanine of Greenpoint Loft from 11pm-1am.

Guests are invited to join us for a welcome cocktail on the evening before our wedding.

Our out-of-town guests are also invited to join us for brunch the morning after our wedding. Additional details to follow.

The doors to the venue will open thirty minutes ahead of our ceremony time at 5:00pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 15 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to make it up to the ceremony space (located on the 5th floor, accessible by elevator) and find a seat.

Travel & Accommodations

Check out the "Insider's Guide to Greenpoint & Brooklyn" section of our Travel section above to see some of our favorite spots to eat, drink and explore in the Greenpoint/Williamsburg neighborhoods of Brooklyn.

Spring in New York City is one of the best, though often most unpredictable times of year.

You can expect average weather that is cool and breezy, with average temperatures ranging from 50-60°F with a moderate chance of rain. Because of the cool temperatures, potential wind, and chance of rain, we recommend dressing in layers and having an umbrella on-hand!

Guest Policies

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 21 on our wedding day.

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Attire & Dress Code

Brooklyn Formal (Black Tie Optional / Formal Wear & Dancing Shoes)

Our dress code is "Brooklyn formal" - a modern, less restrictive black tie optional dress code that balances formal wear with chic, comfortable style and of course, dancing shoes. It means you should look stylish and put-together without being overly stuffy or stiff.

We are hoping to dance the night away, so the key is to look fashionable enough for a formal event, but comfortable enough to dance.

We encourage guests to lean into seasonality with bright colors, floral patterns and lighter fabrics.

For women, this might include:

  • Attire: An evening gown, a tea- or knee-length cocktail dress, midi look, formal jumpsuit, tailored pantsuit or dressy separates are great options. A formal gown with a creative twist, like pairing a floor-length gown with a favorite pair of jeans, could also work.
  • Shoes: Comfort is key, so think about what you can comfortably dance in. Stylish sneakers, cowboy boots or bedazzled flats are all perfectly acceptable options.
  • Accessories: Get creative and be extra with accessories like dramatic earrings or multiple rings.

For men:

  • Attire: Tuxedos or dark suits and ties work. Guests may also consider a spring/summer suit in a lighter fabric or color.
  • Ties: A bow tie is a stylish option, or a dark tie with a subtle floral pattern for personality.
  • Shoes: Stylish sneakers are a perfect match for the "Brooklyn formal" vibe, as are classic loafers or other dressy but comfortable shoes.

The Greenpoint Loft is located at 67 West Street in Brooklyn, NY 11222 - easily accessible via car, rideshare or train.

Transportation will be offered via shuttle or uber voucher to all guests staying at one of our designated hotel blocks, which are each located within a mile from the venue (approx 5-10m via car or 10-15m walking distance).

For local transportation via NYC subway, Greenpoint is closest to the G line (Greenpoint Ave stop) - which connects to the E, 7 and M trains.

Please note: travel in NYC can often take longer than expected - especially on weekends. We encourage our guests to plan for transit to take about 15 minutes longer than indicated on Google or Apple Maps directions.

Valet parking will be available at The Greenpoint Loft (67 West Street) courtesy of Elite Parking & Valet.

Food & Beverage

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet style dinner inspired by our shared Italian heritage. Gluten-free/vegan options can be made available upon request.

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash to tip your bartenders!

Afterparty & Evening Plans

Of course. Our reception will end around 11:00pm, after which there will be an after-party on the second-floor mezzanine of The Greenpoint Loft.

We'll be providing ride-share codes to transport any guests interested in continuing the party post reception—there will be a limited open bar and complementary late-night bites, and more dancing.
